NBA trade market is so stupid. Hard enough to get an NHL GM to trade away one first round pick, NBA GMs will throw 5 first round picks along with a top prospect and solid roster player for one star player.

Even CapFriendly wasn't crazy enough to let me trade away more than 3 first rounders.

helps when you really only need 5 players to win a championship. if youve already got 2 out of 5 money can buy the rest. most teams are only 8 deep during the playoffs anyways. nothing like other sports when you actually need to roster a team. NBA would be much better with a hard cap and not a soft cap.
