I do like the signing... @Caniac2000 told you the term would be 1-2 years.

Carolina, especially if Svechnikov takes a step and they get even average goaltending, should be a team to watch

Good signing for Carolina but what's with the Johansson and Dzingel signings only being two years?

You'd think both of them would've been looking for
4-5 years of term, if Tanev got 6 how'd those two only get 2 years.. Lol

Great pickup. I didn't understand some of the contracts people were giving him on here. He had one good year and people are saying 4-5 years @ $5m. This contract makes sense for what he has done.

Don’t underestimate the power of GM Jim Rutherford. He has a magic ability to give role players term contracts.

I think some of these UFAs tried to hold out for term, and got shut out. Just keep in mind that Aho and Meier are the only big ticket RFA to sign so far as well. The market for FAs wasn’t supporting long term deals.

Move Necas to C and Haula to LW, Haula rarely played center in his career.

*rarely* Necas has been developing down in Charlotte as a winger, thye've confirmed he's playing at C this up coming season. Also.... he played C in vegas....

Not rarely at all, he was playing center the entire Calder Cup finals.

Okay, no. He was on the wing of Andrew Poturalski, I didn't miss a game of the Calder Cup run for Charlotte
