I imagine the lowest he'll take is $5M for a couple years. The issue is he's probably asking for $7M.

I like it but he will get at the least 5 mill- all the RFA's will also get about 750k total more. have to dump rust or bjugstad to make it work.

Of course they do. There is zero reason to give up a 1st to move Johnson. Ottawa's D is so bad right now that Johnson potentially become #2, certainly top-4.

Would Ottawa waive Anderson? Jarry will need to clear so if they aren't waiving Anderson I do not see them taking Jarry.

Johnson+Jarry for a 4th
Johnson+3rd for a 5th.

Johnson isn't better than Chabot, Wolanin, Brannstrom, Demelo or Jaros. that's hilarious

Have you actually looked at Ottawa's roster. Some AHL teams could school them.

Do you see who is lining up to sign there? 20 point Tyler Ennis, who is just happy anyone offered him a contract... 38 year old Hainsey. 38.

Demelo, Chabot, Wolanin, Brannstrom are all easily better than him. He would still be a 6-7th D here lol

How's the Koolaid? You keep telling yourself that the Senators are still an NHL team in more than name only.
