Turris and Connor

Created by: steinosaur19
Team: 2019-20 Columbus Blue Jackets
Initial Creation Date: Jul. 16, 2019
Published: Jul. 16, 2019
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Nashville saves on the cap and cuts term down, still has option to buy out for 1/3 of cost if Wennberg doesn’t produce after next season to use savings to re-sign Josi and Forsberg. Columbus upgrades their 3C and can eat the extra cap.

Winnipeg gets a suitable replacement for Trouba at an affordable price, and Columbus uses their strength at D to fortify the top-6

I don't think Winnipeg would move Connor for that return. Would probably need to involve a 1st. If i'm Winnipeg i'm asking for a 1st+.

How is David Savard “spare parts”? You’ve clearly never watched Columbus play

Dudes, Connor is a Top 3 forward. Even when he's in a slump he won't drop past Top 6 minutes. As for Savard, he's definitely a capable defenceman. He's stable and reliable, but he's Top 4 D at the highest on most teams.
