Kings should not be making any offer sheets. Their 1st round pick next summer could very well be the 1st overall pick.

With the Salaries they are paying.....Doughty, Kovalchuk, Kopitar....I think it is worth the gamble to try and bridge the period of winnable seasons rather than play the Oiler/Ottawa Tank game.

Lol, stupidest thing ever for a rebuilding team to give up their next 4 1st rounders for one player. This is not the NBA, where one player can help you win, just look at McDavid in Edmonton and he is the best in the world. The only teams that should be over sheeting are ones that are one player away from being cup contenders
