I didn't suggest this trade lol, I think Aho is a more valuable trade chip with better potential. He'd be a good fit with LA actually.

But I think Vande Sompel and a 2nd would be fair. Toffoli is a buy low candidate after last season. Look at what MoJo went for to Boston. Pretty much the same situation if you ask me.

Marcus Johannson was a rental traded at the deadline. He's has also never scored 30 goals in his career and is considered to be a bottom six forward. New Jersey got two picks for him.

Toffoli is considered a top six forward, has a full season remaining on his contract, and has hit 30 goals while playing for a team that struggles with goal scoring. A 2nd and a quality prospect or a 1st and Vande-whoever is reasonable.

I dont think LA is trying to rebuild though. Certainly not during Doughty’s prime years and while Kopi is still putting up numbers. Idk what Blake has in mind but I dont think a rebuild is in the books.
