Description

This is what I believe to be the opening day roster, If Mitch doesn't sign before the start of the season I personally would let him sit out. His agent is scum and needs a shorter leash, his dad needs to delete social media and not talk to any press. Mitch, pal, bud, dude, you are an amazing player with some of the best eyes on the ice. You lead the team in points in back to back years but you play to your line mates and mate your line mate was helping you boost those assist stats. You can thread that puck to anyone on that ice but in the league you need to thread that puck in the net to make Matthews/Tavares money.

Meh. When Hyman and Dertmott slide back in and with Aberg, Shore or others filling out the roster I'd say they're in fine shape for this season.

Are they legitimate contenders? Who knows. But they're certainly trending in the right direction and will look good for the foreseeable future

Aberg could end up being a really good signing for the Leafs, he might fit really well with their style of play and if not oh well he's a good player for the Marlies.

No Babcock needs Wilson to play big minutes on his team because he is solid defensively and plays extremely physical.
