If you value Pulju at a 2.8 mil contract, then you are not getting him with a 2nd for Nam and a 4th that's a wild set of contradictions. Pulju at more than Buch and DeAngelo...like what.

Schmaltz just isn't very good. So too much to give up there.

Foligno is Very good defensively. You Add Fast to that deal and it looks a tad more understandable.

Stecher vs. Shatty is pretty close talent wise. Drop the 2nd, Drop Fast and make the pick a 4th and that's enough to make up for the contract differences.

I'm a NYR fan and...

No one would take on Shatty's entire contract.
Hajek deserves to be in the lineup
That Namestnikov trade is awful for the Oilers, Holland says no the second you call him
Nutivaara doesn't bring anything to NYR
Smith is useless and Columbus already has a top 5 defense in the NHL, so it's big NO
Schmaltz is a great player, but Andersson deserves to play
Foligno and Paajarvi don't bring anything to the team
And... Kravtsov on the 4th line... really? Lemieux not in the lineup... really???

yeah that's a weird valuation. Right now the estimate for a 2 year deal for Pulju is 1.3 mil.

Not really a gamble....We have plenty of data. I trust the people who do this everyday. They have him around 1.3...

Interesting...Based off of Anything? Just your personal talent evaluation? Since they were 3rd in the league in both preventing expected goals against and scoring chances against. The 2 best indicators of a good defense. Whereas CBJ was was 11th and 8th respectively.
