maybe, who knows what they're doing outside the rink ! One thing is sure, they played against/with him so they probably know who is the best goalie!

Interesting fact, Rinne (36 yo) and Fleury (34 yo) are all in top 4..

Kudos for outside-the-box thinking.

I don't think NJD takes on that much salary and term at goalie position. MTL would need to retain enough to make it unpalatable for them.

I'd also be careful about anointing Cayden Primeau as the "real deal". He has been solid in college and at World Jrs. but let's wait until he has faced pro players for a year or two before handing him the key to the Canadiens crease for the next decade... the East Coast Hockey League and various European leagues are littered with goalies that have done well at World jrs. and couldn't cut it at the NHL level. Sidney crosby put up one of is best season last year ovechkin score 50 goal, steven stamkos was great last year, brent burns is getting better mark giordano won the norris. Price add a really good season and if he hasn’t suck at the beginning of the year he add won the vezina! So stop with the declining arguments! Players that plays a hard grinding game are more affect by the decline after turning 30
But for the rest plenty of olayer players play at high level until their late 30’s
