I am not sure why you would ever want to make the trade with Florida. McCabe will be a valuable piece to the overall success of the 19/20 team. If you feel that strongly about PU drop all the picks in the deal and send Marco to Florida.

Montour is a perfect pairing with Dahlin. Do not make the mistake of playing him on the left side even though he is capable. Hence why you have to keep McCabe. This is also why I do think GMBots will trade Risto.

I think playing Casey at #2C is a huge mistake. You have to allow this kid to get a few wins to rebuild his confidence. The confidence factor will not grow if you put him at #2C. Ralphie has to resist the urge and leave Casy at #3C for at least half the season.

I think your #2C is ERod with Sam on his right side. Sam has to prove he can carry a line.

I would not break up Skinner & Jack they have legit chemistry and Vesey is not a #1LW.

No way does GMBots bury Grigensons and have Asplund start the year with the big club ditto for Arttu.

Here would be my lines before the Risto trade return:

    Line 1: Skinner/Jack/Oloff
    Line 2: Johansson/ERod/Sampson
    Line 3: Sheary/Casey/Vesey
    Line 4: Gigensons/Larsson/Okposo

I actually think that Casey should be C2 with Sam as the winger and Johansson, will give him top 6 xperience which is needed and I think that he will be better this year

I appreciate that stance you are taking.... I do agree that Casey will be the #2C. What I want to accomplish with starting him at #3C is to allow him to dominate his competition with no pressure on him to elevate his confidence (I compare it to dropping one of my horses in class in order to get a win for the horse which picks their head up)..... in addition you determine whether ERod will earn the future deal since he is on a 1 year. If ERod wants to make 3 million plus on a long term deal demonstrate that you can handle 2C.

I don't see ERod taking c2 I think he will be c4 and Sam will be C2 if it isn't erod, I like your thoughts though

Cliff Pu sucks, Rodrigues on the top-line is a joke, and Jeff Skinner didn't re-sign to not play with Jack Eichel.

And the Sabres are not sitting $11M in the pressbox every night.
