Shatt just might sign in Jersey. Devils use their leverage. Just a one year deal. Shattenkirk has to prove himself as a good NHLer. Devils have "lots" of RHD.

This is true. If we sign him it more than likely pushes Smith out of the lineup unless Vat is traded and we slides into the bottom left d pairings

Sign Shattenkirk and trade Vatanen to Edmonton for a pick or two, might have to take one of their guys back like Manning but he's easily buried in the minors.

Honestly no. There are Subban, Severson, Vatanen and Carrick on the right side. You guys got Subban, Butcher, Severson who can play on the PP. Don't know your PP strategy but most teams use 1 D 4 F on at least one unit so 3 are enough. I say this because Shattenkirk can help on the PP but is meh otherwise as a dmen.
