I really hope their not landing another top 3 pick they have their share of high draft pick. Reinhart eichel dahlin actualy since 2013 the ristolainen draft buffalo never pick after the 8 spot! With all those players they should be battling for the cup not the lottery

Out of Ullmark and Hutton I'd rather keep Hutton. He would make a better mentor for Luukkonen, but I dont believe that Luukkonen will be ready 2020. Give him 2years in the AHL.

I hate to say this, but the rebuild really started last year after drafting Dahlin. The team that DATM assembled finished last over all in 2017-2018.
This follows terrible trades (Gorges for a 2nd, Deslauriers and Fasching for 2 2nd and McNabb, 1st for OTT 3rd GK and a cap dump), terrible UFA signing (Moulson $25,000,000, Okposo $36,000,000, Gionta $16,000,000), and terrible drafts (only 3 NHL players from 3 drafts, while Draisaitl and Sergachev were taken right after Reinhart and Nylander).
The team is headed in the right direction. Betterall has used cap space to get Sheary, Miller and Vesey at discounts, moved Nylander for a solid RHD, and picked up Montour at the TDL,

I know but that not my problem! I hate those team who suck badly just for the lottery pick nhl should do something about it. Team should be able too pick top 10 years after years without consequences

You make a good point, but I think the Sabres are on the right track. If Bales can do his magic with Ullmark and Hutton, Vesey and Johansson can deliver, the defense actually shows improvement, and Kruger can motivate the team 90 pts is conceivable or even more. I do not see a playoff next year, if it is not close (90 pts minimum) then give up, trade everyone and reset, because this a team of losers.

Yeah i think they will be in the hunt until the end this year! And they have a great goalie that is coming that will help them in a few year

I like holtz but i love Byfield. i am thinking of jack and Quinton being like crosby and malkin in Pittsburgh with the devastating 1 2 Punch down the middle of the ice. and i think we will have a few good wingers already

You're wings are pretty average outside of skinner and reinhart

i think Olofsson and Cozens should have no problem being top 6 wingers and if the rest are avg thats fine
