Joke or not, I think Los Angeles probably should jump at Quick for Ristolainen, to kick off their rebuild in style, but maybe just as a one for one.

You trade a Ristolainen to start a rebuild, try to get better, not trade for him...

Don't trade UPL for Quick but Risto and a couple young prospects/+ maybe a pick is worth it for both teams. If they keep him they lose him in the Expansion draft

If we trade UPL or trade for a high priced goalie, we riot

I made the same joke about Karlsson on here, before he found an easy role in San Jose where he stopped being -30, and still scores almost as many points. Not sure if LA is that spot for Ristolainen, or if he'll keep being awful in his own end, there, but Quick was third in save percentage last year on the Kings, and is a decade older than Ristolainen, who got forty points in each of the last four years, so it's an easy, easy choice for LA to sell hope, instead of nostalgia.

Sending a much better player to a much better team = trading a much worse player to a team worse than the one he's currently on??? I say no.

Sure, I mean, Buffalo finished five standings points higher, in a different conference, so... wait, what were we saying?

I am verry happy to get your attention

Ristolainen is not happy at Buffalo
They need a real additions not for future but for now someone as Quick who should be only better and doesn t has a big value at this time.
