Description

Finally, a right winger RFA has signed a long term contract for his team. Now we finally have a good comparable for Mitch Marner. Since Keller got 7.15 million AAV on an 8 year deal, I believe Marner is worth slightly less at 6.5 million AAV for the same term. Forget about taxes and all that, no one can convince me that Marner is better than Keller. In fact, there are no stats that indicate Marner being better than Bracco!

Lol no I am not. Check Corsica and all the advanced stats websites. Follow up with Stephen Burtch, the advanced stats specialists. Your stats only tell a small sample size, plus the only reason why they are that high was because he got carried by Tavares. Put him away from tavares and see how low his stats are. The issue is, people think Marner is talented but he isn’t. In fact, Bracco is more talented than him.

I think Marner is worth the Stone contract 9.5M for 8 years, not 9.5 for 3 years like he's rumored to be getting.

he's not taking 8. he's gonna maximize his potential. 5 years big money, and than cash in again at ufa with bigger money. thats the way rfa's are going. 8 year contracts aren't guaranteed when a player is 27-28 as the league is trending younger.
