I can see Georgiev getting moved. We have a history of moving high potential backups and Shesterkin will probably be our guy in the future, we also have Lindbom in the system who may turn into a decent backup. Too early to give up on Lias though. But that Sharks trade looks like a whole lot of nothing coming back anyway

No way they would give up that much without getting Chekhovich or Chmelevski back. And also probably wouldn’t accept putting off all the picks to ‘21 and ‘22 either. Kinda screams “chump dump” to me.

A lot of mixed opinions. Lol I agree with andersson being to much but if the sharks trade for Kreider we’d be “stupid” not asking for Georgiev.

I do not see Chmelevski or Chekhovich moving for Kreider. I see a lot of people saying Kreiders value is _______ (High price). When I think:

True (or Blich) Suomela a 1st (obviously not 2020) and 3rd (2020) Is more than enough because he could just be a rental lol.

Georgiev and Andersson is why the trade got dicey as Georgiev is worth ATLEAST a 2nd id think. And andersson is a toss up to me ( I have no idea what he’d go for ).

I’d think Georgiev and Kreider would go to the sharks possibly by TDL but I cannot see Chmelevski Or Chekhovich moving at all.

The Rangers have the ability to retain both Georgiev and Shesterkin from the expansion draft so there’s no impetus on moving Georgie at all. They will be happy to let him gain value and only move him if he clearly prices himself out of NY like Talbot and Raanta did.
Kreider for a first and Blichfeld would certainly be good enough. Possibly even a first and Suomela or True. You are right that’s it gets very sketchy when adding Andersson and Georgiev. Andersson was a 7th overall selection (probably went too high but the 4 players taken after him haven’t done squat either) and the organization is probably committed to giving him plenty of opportunities to develop before giving up on him. That said, a couple 3rd round picks and lower prospect like Bergman doesn’t move the needle for us.
