I disagree with Byram. Id say this would be the lineup who makes it out of camp:

Landeskog-MacKinnon-Rantanen
Burakovsky-Kadri-Donskoi
Wilson-Compher-Jost
Calvert-Kamenev-Bellemare/Nieto
Nieto/Bellemare, Nichushkin (IDK why you have him on LTIR tho, is he injured?)

Girard-Johnson
Zadorov-Makar
Barberio-Timmins
Connauton

Grubauer-Francouz

And once cole returns, he is paired with Makar and Zadorov-Timmins is 3rd pairing and Connauton/Barberio is either moved or goes down to eagles.

There’s not a lot of roster spot with all they acquisitions that sakic made this summer buth martin kaut might surprised! He add to work majorly on is speed and explosion but have already a deadliest shot and a great hockey sense. He night crack the top 9.

It's very possible that byram gets the 9 games and goes back to whl.. just saying that while listening to the podcast they talked about how well timmins and byrams chemistry has been.
I put burkovsky on the right side because apparently hes not very good on the left, hes a shooter and likes playing the opposite side
If anything jost would centre the 3rd line, theybwant to give him a chance in the top 6 at the start of the year but I believe he makes it down to 3C eventually
I put nichushkin on the LTIR because I dont think he makes the team out of camp and goes to the KHL
I put those defense pairings in because as before the chemistry between byram and timmins and last years chemistry between makar and girard who are going to be roommates this year

I hope so, they said his line Henry-Bowers-kaut may be the eagles top line and if their are any injuries they may just grab one of them to play a top 9 role.

I have no problem waiving neito, and sending Wilson to the press box.. although I would like to see him on the 3rd line with jost and compher again

I think that all colorado players are lock i their respective chair but guy on the third line have everything to loose to young guys
Like bowers ans kaut. I mean if one of the kids outplayed a roster guy bednar will
Definitely play him over the old guys.

They haven't really in the past but the best player should play, at least the best player for the role, I wouldnt want to see kaut on the 4th line with bellemare because hes not going to play his game

No if kaut or bowers make the team
It won’t be on 4th line. Bringing a rookie offensive minded in must be at least on the top 9!!! Agree on that

I think you got the right lines. Maybe Barberio or Connauton will play on the third line to add some experience. Timmins might start at the Eagles after missing last season. Byram gets his 9 games. I think Graves will start at the Eagles too, with Rosen getting NHL minutes. Because Rosen should be ready for the NHL and he's a waiver exempt which makes it easier when Cole returns

Watching the games it didn't seem like timmins was playing at a high level. I understand it was the rookie showcase but i think he's gonna need sometime in the ahl just to get back after missing that full year.

Haha yeah, i find that annoying about our media and commentators, i remember when comeau had a breakaway turned around to try to pass back to mack and turned it over and mcnabb complimented him about how much of a veteran play it was. I understand pumping up the home team but sometimes it is too much.

As for timmins his potential is still there i think he just needs some seasoning with some top line minutes in the ahl instead of 3rd line minutes in the nhl. Maybe half way through the year he can come up or next season and let EJ take some minutes off since he's getting wore out.

Problem is EJ is a great dman, 1 out of 10 games a year.. bit hes also injured 4 out of 10 games a year... he is just made of glass. Until hes punching the crap out of rinaldo
