In regards to trading Ceci to Winnipeg, if you look at the trade I specifically mentioned "Assuming big Buff retires". In that situation they have plenty of cap room...

If so, it would give us some much-needed stability on our D going forward. If he would sign a reasonable deal we might even be able to keep Muzzin too.

What im preaching from the moment i saw Muzzin hitting them around.....didnt paid much attention to whats happening in LAK. After he started to throw them bodies around i signed to be fan right away, cause those working Ds that have offensive side also were always praised in my eyes ( and hes proly the only one playing "proper" D on the roster )

Money wise its doable, Hamonic 5 x 5M, Muzzin 4 x 5M and Dermott 2 x 2,9M...my sim shows 13,8M Cap space for next year to finally fix the D.

I'm not sure why you think Ceci is so terrible. He's done fine, not great, when not carrying an ahler as a partner. For a team with cap space a guy his age with a 1 year contract has appeal

I'd love to keep him if we had more cap breathing room.
