Isn’t a fit. Winnipeg needs cap space preferably for an actual acquisition at TDL and they already have Kulikov on the books

they still have 7 Million in space as of right now. guys like Kulikov & perreault could be traded in any TDL trade if they decided to make one

Take whatever Johnson # is (I can’t rember off the top of my head but it’s like 3.25 or something) and that’s around 3-4 they have left and now have to worry about moving Kulikov, perr, and now Johnson if they want money. Having 7 mil in space is a positive with the potential of getting more space a better position

Having $4M in cap space as up through the TDL means that you can go over the cap by $14.M from the TDL to the end of the season. Meaning that you can add $18.M of (net yearly) cap hit at the TDL and be just fine. ($4M space, plus the $14.M overage).
