My Pens Chatter Box-

I think everyone needs to simmer dahn about 1 game of 82 games.
DEFENSIVE - Is there problems on the back-end?
Yes, and they will get delt w/ by this trade & letting Pettersson pair w/ Schultzy, letting either Riikola or
a player like Big Rig get paired w/ Guddy (who was good again in gm 1 btw) - But could u imagine
a 3rd pairing of Guddy and Big Rig? keep ur head up kid, lol. Also, 8-58 need to play better. But I trust GMJR
will fix this problem.

FORWARDS - **Remember there are alot of new & young forwards in line-up - So give them at least 12-15
games before fans start killing them. BUT they MUST understand that when a D-man pinches, the high forward
MUST get on there horse, get back, and Cover up for D-man.
- Horny is not a 1st line regular season guy anymore, he can still work as a playoff 1st liner but that 1st line
must be 19-87-59 OR 59-87-12
- Geno looked scary good, really like that 2nd line & hope they stick together
- That 3rd line of 12-27-72 was really good last yr and they need to get back to it.
- Blueger did great as 4th line Center, We really miss Rusty's speed in line up (hope he is healthy soon) and
Kahun has not done much but im going to give him a month to mesh in.

I’d like to see this from Florida’s side. Because I suspect they decline. Their cap is pretty tight and they’re flush with NHL defenseman.

I’m a huge fan of getting Oleksiak back. I think running with Dumo/Letang Oleksiak/Schultz and Pettersson/Gudbranson would be quite solid.

No way you're moving Johnson out just with a 5th attached. If it was that easy it would have been done by now.

I agree ... just trying to think of ways not to pay so much and trade seemed kind of fair bc of needs for each team.

Oleksiak will never play for this team again. EVER.
I don't know why that is hard for people to understand.
There was a fallout. He's gone. Not coming back, ever.
He really didn't want his role here. That was the only reason he was really here.
He don't want it, he's gone.

Florida declines no need for Johnson unless they get a top prospect or 1st rounder. Also max retention from Pittsburgh.
