True but that was a really bad trade that Pete cherelli made sooooo

Awful trade but it does illustrate the market inefficiency when it comes to RHDs. Best bet is to stay the course and try to draft or sign one

Most TML fans think it would take kapanen , liljeren and a 2nd

Realistically it would take Nylander and a 1st

Parayko is one of the best shutdown RD in the game.

Kapanen, Ceci(retain 50% salary) and a second round pick. This would make it even in cap and the leafs have plenty of forward depth to fill the void. St.louis can bench Ceci for $2.25mil and let him walk into free agency this summer. Kapanen can play a top 6 roll easily.

Robert Thomas, boewmester, and a 2nd for Morgan Reilly sound like a good deal? Toronto can bench boewmester and let him walk into free agency this summer.
UpsideDownQue liked this.

Toronto shouldn't be targeting Parakyo. The Blues can overvalue him because they have no reason to trade him, and I don't think Toronto should be giving up the assets that the Blues would want in return.

Uhhhh I think it will be a bit more than that

It would probably be more, but honestly, I don't see the Blues and Leads being good trade partners. Both teams are close to the cap, Blues need defensive prospects more than wingers which is really all Toronto would offer at this point. Armstrong likes his middle tier budget wingers and Nylander isnt good enough to justify nearly 7 mil.

Idk, but probably something cool

Problem is that the Blues are already loaded at forward. So even if we got Nylander, you're looking at something closer to Nylander, Sandin, and 1st for Parayko and Kyrou. If Army were to move Parayko, he'd pick a better suited team

That would get you laughed out of the room.

There is no trade to be had. It would have to be marner for parayko, a contract St. Louis doesn’t like, and a pick.
