Its the most competitive teams I have seen in years. Outside of some outliers like Ottawa, Columbus and Los Angles, every team really has a shot. It cause of this you wont see of those 90 teams. Remember Montreal didn't make it last year with a 96 points

What you described would literally have the opposite affect.

not really, the constant **** kicking out of the teams in the Metro and Central to have lower point totals.

Arizona and Anaheim can’t score enough to crack 100 points, Winnipeg and Edmonton on the other hand, well maybe I’m just drinking the koolaid

I think both Arizona and Anaheim will be fine, they have the talent it just needs to hit the ice and I think its this year.

Winnipeg can score but cant defend and goal tending is suddenly shaky.

As for Edmonton I have no idea how they started 5-0 but i cant see it lasting

You say every team, with few exceptions has a chance. This would drive point totals closer together.

I hate to say it but San Jose is too good not to fix their issues and not make the playoffs. San Jose will score goals.... it remains to be seen if they will stop other from scorning. I hate to say it but San Jose will likely finish better then Arizona and Anaheim. Also I bet Colorado makes it again and it’s 3 teams from the pacific and 5 from the central.
