3 games. Small sample. Been a beast defensively though and just had bad puck luck so far (creating good chances). I know his contract length is too much but he's a good 2C.

And Benn? Okposo isn't the worst, although he is probably making 3 million more dollars that she should be.

i mean i'm a rangers fan whose watched his game for like 5 years and thought it was a huge overpayment... solid player hope he does well in philly but too much $ and term imo

Lee and his agent both said he was staying with the iislanders no matter what - the contract would have been different and that’s why it didn’t get done until after the isles were out on panarin.

I think it's a 1 millish over payment but in hind sight it was pretty needed for this season, considering Patrick's injury, but yeah I can't disagree that it was too much term and money but I hate how some are acting like it's as bad as Lucic's contract (I think it will end up being bad but not that bad).

thats pretty fair... i still think it's a bad contract and its too early to officially decide, but unlike other bad contracts he does provide value/skill still
