I'm honest when I say I don't mind Schultz getting moved or leaving as a FA. He's ok offensively but he's not great on defense. That part has really showed.
I'd be ok with someone coming in who is more reliable in the Dzone.

He has a NTC, unless he waives it like fleury the penguins have to protect him.

I think if they bridge all of their UFA's, and do not buy out any UFA years, they will be able to get most of them on the cheap. But it is likely they would have to let Schultz walk to make this happen. Also a lot of things would have to go right for them to move $15 million off their books.
