How are a first, a second, a reliable top 9 young winger and a top rHD prospects bad assets? If we try to acquire a guy like Timo, it isnt to lose a guy like Drouin.... The trade I made is even a slight overpay from MTL

I see two good D3+ prospects doing eh in the AHL, a 30 point bottom sixer, an awful contract dump and two picks. These are all things you can easily afford to lose for a future top liner and proven 30 goal scorer. Quality over quantity is a must. Not saying the prospects arent good but the sharks cant afford to lose Timo for unproven hopes right now

The fact that you included Alzner drastically decrease the package value. If the Sharks/Hawks have to give up some good assets to get rid of Vlasic/Seabrook (wont happen tho), imagine the package the Habs would have to give up to get rid of Alzner.

No trade with Alzner in it is an overpay....

Poehling, Brook & a first and second round pick is more than enough for Meier. Azner's contract when being sent down to the minors next year is very minimal and Lehkonen is a solid bottom 6 forward. I'm not doing this if I'm the habs. Honestly Poehling.could easily be better than Meier

As a long time Sharks fan, I would love this trade, minus Alzner unless you take either Dillon or Vlasic.
