The same Puljujarvi that was a 4th overall pick and only played 139 games and had a point total of 37. That’s .26ppg or 21 points a year. He played 3 seasons which would mean he was either hurt or didn’t play in 107 professional games. He missed 43% of the games he could have possibly played in. He’s completely destroying a league that isn’t the nhl. Why not sign nigel dawes he’s destroying the khl? Ha

Why are people glorifying this guy? Kreider having a slow start doesn’t delete his value. He’s a 50 point guy the last 3 years. It would take JP 3 years to achieve that many points.

Kreider value is more than likely a 1st and a decent prospect. Adding yams and PJ is too much. You also have to consider that besides hall kreider might be the 2nd best guy being traded. He’s averaged 50 points the last 3 seasons. (One season his ppg total would equal 50 in 82 games)

Puljujarvi will come back next tear and have a great season. Kreider have topped, he won’t get better, actually due to is playing style he might have just three or four season left inn’ the tank. Oilers giving two young prospect and a second round for a half season of a guy’s who might broke at any moment that’s not a good deal.
Puljujarvi is still a kid most players haven’t start their nhl career by that age. Oilers doesn’t managed him well, but he will return better then ever

I do think that florida is trying hard to sign dadonov but depending on how much money he wants maybe florida will have to part ways. If they wouldn’t have a agreement and the panthers are out of the playoff picture he will be a premier asset. As for hoffman, the guy’s have tremendous offensive skill but he doesn’t have a clue what to do when he doesn’t hold the puck. I mean is defensive game is 0. But a team like the islanders would gave a lot for a guys like him he can roll the powerplay by himself he have a tremendous shot and a amazing vision.

Like you said rangers kind of miss the boat with kreider last year. I think that they would have received a better returns. Because now everybody’s know he will be traded and that he will hit the market. Like the jets handle trouba situation they didn’t receive the return they expected ranger won’t received a first and a top prospect like thompson or dube. Top 5 prospect in organization are almost untouchable on any team. They invested too much money and know team are selecting more for they need then for the talent. Draft start looking like nfl. Team know’s players are coming faster to the league so they rather select a position players then the best available at the moment. So trading top prospect for a rental is very unlikely. Last few trade deadline have gone that way. Team are more willing to move pick.
