no willy trade unless it knocks dubas' socks off and undeniably fills our primary need: a fairly young RHD who's very good in his own end and can push the play forward.

I agree rumor sites I go to almost never give specifics at least not until the trade has been made.

Blues aren't trading Kostin for a rental player. That being said, I think Kreider would be perfect for the Blues. Maybe Sanford or Blais plus a conditional pick for Kreider with no retained salary.

I agree they probably won't. But as much as Blais has proven to be more than a 6th round pick, he's still expendable in my opinion and I like the way he plays.
