Description
So the guys at TSN said rumours are Stevie Y is open to move Zadina. Not sure how accurate that rumour is but if it’s true could this work?. Seems like a perfect fit for both team. JP wants out and Holland drafted Zadina so maybe there’s a possibility.

Puljujärvi has played 139 games over 3 seasons and is now playing in Europe. Zadina is Detroit's #1 prospect they aren't going to trade him before giving him a shot and and they don't think he is ready yet. Now if you want Zadina it's Broberg or maybe Bouchard. Now Puljujärvi is still young and he might be able to acclimate to the speed of the NHL but in the NHL all he has proved is he is a bottom 6 forward.

Get real Yzerman would be run out of town if he dealt Filip Zadina for Jesse Puljujarvi, No way is Puljujarvi's value Zadina. Possibly consider it for Puljujarvi+Jones+Edmonton's 2020 1st round pick. But 1 for 1 isn't happening and TSN hasn't been that reliable of a source. And Yzerman trading Zadina was mere speculation on Pierre McGuires part

No way is Yzerman doing Zadina for Pool-Party Holland would need to add big time here. For this deal to go down Pool-Party's value is nowhere close to Zadina's value.

LOL wdym get real just asked a simple question didnt say a 1 for 1 deal was fair just with a 1 year age difference pulu didn’t have success playing with lucic most of his career.. not named mcdavid on the oilers who would but looking at both (stats only) in the minors pulu and Zadina are pretty close just kinda seems ur being a little bias for the red wings

I mean he didn’t really get much of a chance to play top 6 with edm.. but I agree no he didn’t have success playing in the nhl but he played with lucic most of his career everyone on here shoots him down so quickly clearly has never seen him playing besides world juniors maybe..

Zadina's value is still in the Bouchard/Broberg area so you get real here.

Has nothing to do with being a biased Red Wing fan, But more so that Puljujarvi's value is nowhere near Zadina's value like i stated and Aedoran stated Zadina's value is higher then puljujarvi's value as Zadina still has far more upside then Puljujarvi Puljujarvi is at best worth a late 2nd possible early 3rd round pick not a #6 overall player.

So if there was a redraft do u think he’s still going top 6?

He's still top 10 material not sure if he goes at #6 or what. but i still feel he's top 6 he's finally starting to heat it up in GR while Pool-Party opted to play in Finland. Right now Puljujarvi's value is pretty low definitely lower then a #6 overall player.

He isn't worth JP + Jones + 1st, that's for damn sure.

In 2016-17 Puljujärvi 4 goals and 5 assists for 9 points McDavid or Draisaitl had a point on 7 of those. Puljujärvi had 1 ppp and it was an unassisted goal
in 2017-18 Puljujärvi 12 goals and 8 assists for 20 points McDavid or Draisaitl had a point on 9 of those and RNH had a point in 4 of those. Puljujärvi had 2 ppp both with RNH.
In 2018-19 Puljujärvi 1 goals and 7 assists for 8 points McDavid had a point in 2 of those and RNH had a point in 4 of those. Puljujärvi had 1 ppp an assist on Lucic's goal.

So take out the power play points and McDavid, Draisaitl or RNH were in on 26 of Puljujärvi's 33 even strength points and Lucic was in on 8 of those.

Going based on points alone doesn’t prove how he was utilized. He spent 90% of his minutes with line mates who stuggled themselves. This is just another matter of Oilers management and coaching being a bunch of morons when it comes to player development.

Ok but McDavid, Draisaitl and RNH they are top 6 right? 79% of his even strength points had McDavid, Draisaitl or RNH also receiving a point as well. I'm sorry but that is just way to big of percentage to say he didn't get much of a chance to play top 6 in Edmonton.

Again look at the minutes played in the top 6 vs minutes played in the bottom 6. He did have his chances but unfortunately McLellan would give his spot to a vet in the top 6 cause “he has to earn his spot in the top 6”. I’m one of the few that’s glad McLellan was fired. He has no idea how to manage a lineup.

So you're saying Puljujärvi is a bottom 6 forward and he still has to earn a spot in the top 6.
