Any deal with Gaudreau would have to involve Suzuki. I see Poehling as a very good 2/3C and good defensively, similar to a Jordan staal. However, I don't ever picture him becoming a first line centre. Primeau has been great but goalies are so unpredictable. I just dont see any incentive for Calgary to trade a 100 point guy, and Montreal isn't in any position to trade for gaudreau.

I’d rather not. To use an analogy that Elliotte Friedman once used, Gaudreau is a player that gets you to the playoffs, not through them. Sure he’ll put up points and make you a playoff team, but he’s useless when playoff time rolls around.

A small winger! Exactly what Montreal needs!
