Madbum has alot of mileage and most of it (playoffs) is not good.

Can't get Odorizzi. I'd go for Madbum or Wheeler if we missed out on him but Ryu would be a great choice too. Hell if we sign Cole Keuchel or Wood would be fine (no pun intended lol).

I'd start with offering Biggio+ prospects. Guriel sort of turned it around near the end of the season so maybe him and Biggio?

I get pitchers cost alot to get but that's overkill. Ray only has 1year left and gave up 30 home runs in 33 starts. I think he'd be a good fit but I was thinking more like Groshans, a Thornton or Borucki and maybe Luciano if Ray came with an extension id add gurriel.

An extension would absolutely have to be part of any trade. That was my assumption anyway.

I misunderstood that makes more sense lol. I think Gurriel Jr.+ Borucki + groshins or a paradinho or someone on that tier should get it done, but Keuchel might just be the better play here.

Maybe. The infield defense would need to be way better than last season to have Keuchel as a starter. Otherwise, he's not a good option.

I get that but he's a more realistic option although knowing our FO they'll probably be in on the next tier of guys. I said in a earlier comment that he's an extreme groundball pitcher who induces weak contact that wouldn't play well with our young infield as their going to be very mistake-prone and will inflate Keuchel's stats.

What about Alfred+??

Alford has no value. There was alot of talk amongst the fan base on Jays Journal and MLB Trade rumors that Alford could be DFA'd. He hasn't been able to stay healthy. I think a package of Gurriel Jr.+ Borucki (or another #4-5 starter Thornton, SRF, Pannone, Wags, (I picked Borucki as he has #3 ceiling) and a top prospect like Paradinho, SWR, Kloff, Manoha should get it done. I would offer gurriel + borucki + paradinho as long as Ray comes with an extension if it's not enough I'd pass.

Biggio isn't super great. He's decent but you gotta give talent to get talent. I'm okay with giving up Biggio+ if it means landing an ace pitcher with an extension.

We are not talking about getting an ace pitcher in a trade, this guy would 2 or 3 pitcher.

Cole is the ace to get.

Still going to have to give up talent to get pitchers in any trade.
