I agree because you guys are acquiring Gus for a 2nd round pick

last year with Byron out we went through a similar less alarming slump 5-6-3 while byron was out last year including 5 loses straight

our D is rough and how we compensate for that is our Forecheck so losing Byron and Drouin hurts for offensive reason but most of all it hurts Price who's getting fed up with our D Core .

Our biggest weaknesses were C and LD but now we're stacked :

Danault-Domi-KK-Poehling-Suzuki
Norlinder-Mete-Chiarot-Romanov-Harris

We need wingers badly, they should aim for Holtz or Raymond tbh or Lafreniere if possible

despite all things said we Miss Shaw
Domi outright gave credit to his success as a 2 way player last year to Shaw saying its been an adjustment without him but he'll figure it out .

that being said last time you gave us a 2nd it became Romanov so short term pain is worth the long term gain . (poor Domi though he talks like a someone shot his dog when they bring up Shaw )

if i said the sky was falling everytime i reached adversity in life i woulda took a long walk off a short pier a long time ago .
its impossible to go through life living like that and its no more fullfilling then trying to see things as they are .

if we lose fine but Tanking hasnt been a thing since 1995 when they changed the draft rules and its become even more rare since teams like ARZ who've missed 14/16 playoffs only picked top 3 a total of 3 times and never have had a #1 overall pick . since they changed the odds for the Lottery to favor lower ranking teams its become even more rare with teams like ARZ using their top 10 picks to break the cycle of being a bottom feeding team rather then draft an Ok player they hope to not screw up in development .

MTL might miss the playoffs but there isnt anything in the world that's gonna make me write off My Team before the seasons even half done as STL proved only Last year sometimes a late season push can be all you need . (LAK before that in 2012 and CHI before that in 2010 so it happens )
