Cozens is untouchable. Should have been a top 3 pick in the draft but teams were too pumped up on the Hughes Kakko when they may not even be the best in their draft. Glad he fell to us, he is an elite player.

Well to get an established and consistent 1C you're gonna have to give up an elite prospect like that. I agree that Cozens has a higher ceiling than Monahan, but that's the tradeoff when you trade a prospect for an established player, and a star player at that. 1 for 1 seems fair value to me (I'm not particularly high on Monahan tbh), but Buffalo even having to add assets wouldn't surprise me either.
