Do you really think the value is anywhere close in that Gallagher trade? Cmon man, that's embarrassing.

Dude u are not getting Gallagher for that. he is montreals best winger so far this season its gonna cost a lot more than that. I would love him on the pens but you gotta add way more than that

Not a Habs expert but pretty sure Gallagher starts with Guentzel

Yeah, Gallagher would cost more along the lines of Guentzel.

What about a 2021 2nd round pick and prospect.
I dont know much about some the role players for the Habs but I know Suzuki is a righty and a top draft of vegas a couple years ago. Maybe could develop on the right wing and Bjugstad will give depth down the middle.
I know the Habs were last in the playoffs in the 2016-17 when you had Pacioretty (traded for Suzuki, Tatar and 2nd rounder) Pacioretty had better stats and pedigree than Gallagher.
Traded Alex Galchenyuk to Arizona 1 for 1 for Max Domi. Great trade for the Habs but at the time he had goals in first three years of (18,9,9)
Habs have traded away their top players before and could see Gallagher getting moved.

Doubt you are willing to give up what Montreal would want for Gallagher. Would start with a 1st and a very good prospect. I know he's not worth that, but they aren't trading him just to trade him.
