Backes contract alone is worth a 1st. Palmieri has an extra year on his deal and is a cost effective 25-30 goal scorer. Urho is steep, but what else can you provide thats worth a year and a half of Palms on its own?

His real money is low. The cap boyout would be 4m and 2m over two years. Alot easier to deal with than 1 year at 6.25m for a guy who said he won't play there. They don't need to move him. I can't keep doing this. He is not Marleau. Toronto was in a bind. Boston is not. They have other options and they don't need to guard against an offer sheet. He is not 35+ contract.
