If this is true, it’s likely futures/ cap space move for NJ, especially if they really would rather have McCabe or Pilut.

Botterill seems to like this kind of deals, taking on big or bad deals to acquire talent...:he did it with Sheary (Hunwick), Scandella (Pominville), and In the ROR deal (Berglund and Sobotka)

But I’d have to imagine a forward from NJ would be apart of the trade.

Subban is still a decent possession driver and I think I still better in his own end than Ristolainen

NJ has cap space, so I don't see that. Maybe Zajac for Bogo. Same cap basically but Bogo is done after this season and they dont have Zajac taking up a top 9 spot

That's the premise of this post . . . and your earlier comment . . .

Risto is very overrated. I get Subban is struggling, but Risto isn't any better

Risto has been great under Kreuger, as I said would happen

Yes, you did. The post advances a rumor of a trade by which Buffalo sends Ristolainen and Thompson to New Jersey for P. K. Subban. You responded with a comment countering the New Jersey part by saying you thought the player coming back was Zajac, Zacha or Palmieri. Your silence on the Buffalo side means you accept that part of the premise. That's the way English works. If you'd said "Buffalo wouldn't trade Ristolainen; a more likely trade is Bogosian for Zajac, Zacha or Palmieri," that would be different.

No, i was countering the rumor that Buffalo was interested in Subban. My comment above it already called the rumor garbage, so im guessing you just missed that. Friedman put in his 31 thoughts that NJ was looking at Buffalos D. I said depending which dman, Botterill would want Zajac, Zacha, or Palmieri

laugh laugh Subban is on a downward spiral, If Botts gave up Risto for Subban he'd be fired immediately.
