Yes he is. Ehlers is 23, locked up for 6x6, on pace for 72 pts. He’s going to be a 30 goal scorer.

Hertl is 26, 3x5.625, hes -20 and I just don’t like his game.

I get he’s a C but I’d rather have a younger, locked up on a good contract ehlers than hertl. I’d keep Wheeler at 2c over hertl lol.

I may be slightly biased as I’m a fan of ehlers but I think he’s the better player and I’d rather have him.

I would leave the top 6 alone and when little healthy either play him with pearrault and add name here, and copp and Lowry and add name here and have a 3a and 3B, to join a solid top 6, the hole isn’t up front imo, blueline needs time and healthy happy buffy or headed for a bubble/ wildcard spot.

As a Sharks fan thats a big fat NO. And Ehlers is not worth more than Hertl, not by a mile.

Hertl has been hampered by injuries all season, but when he is healthy and on his game he is basically unstoppable. Elite power and skill. Ehlers is pretty good I would say but I'm taking Hertl over him any day of the week.

Hertl would be great but not at the expense of Ehlers,
would only trade a package of futures for him, definitely not Ehlers.

I've been working on an ACGM of the Jets trading for Hertl, doubt the Sharks are dealing him though, will be interesting to see what they do in SJ if they don't get things turned around quickly this season.
