And brodie is a ufa so why are you moving skjei again? Is he not a legit top 4 guy?

yeah the trade makes no sense. And for some reason some fans don't like Skjei. He's totally fine.

Skjei is a top 4 guy... He's just young, inexperienced, and at the start of the season was a little inconsistent as he adjusted to being paired with various very young D-men. But since being paired with Trouba on the top D line, he's playing like a top 4 D-man. Doubt very much NYR trades Skjei... He's not going to fetch much of a return at this point and NYR needs his top 4-D ability. Rangers have several good young defensive prospects, but they are all still a few years away from the NHL. Also keep in mind that the posters favourite teams are Montreal and Pittsburg.

Didn't mean he wasn't smart. Just might not have noticed Skjei improved play since being paired with Trouba.
