Very very very hard pass from me, Jenik is so so good (I thought he was more highly thought of bc the WJC, but ig not... Jenik>>>>>>>>>Kaliyev) Capo is a solid young depth d man with potential to be maybe a number 4, probably a really good bottom pairing guy, and a second

I'm unclear on your comment, and because I value your opinion highly, I'd like you to clarify it. Are you saying that as an Arizona GM you would reject it?

Yes, Georgiev seems to be worth a second+ (slightly less than Capo) and I think Kreider is one of the most overrated (value wise) players in the league, he'll get at most the return that Zucc or Nyquist got (second+third w/conditions) and I think Jenik (plus the slight value left from the Capo+2nd/Georgiev swap) is worth more than that TO ARZ bc they have a long time to compete, and Jenik fits in with that, and they definitely will not have the cap to resign Kreider Hall and Gerogiev (or the cap to take them this year) and one of those guys I'd slightly more important than the others lol

I agree that Georgiev is playing himself into a probable 2nd round pick. I also agree that Capo likely becomes a solid second pairing d-man. Yes, Jenik is good...thus his high selection in the recent draft. For the very reason you gave at the end of your comment is the reason I would go all in if I were Arizona. You're right, they can't afford Hall and (possibly or) Kreider, but they can this year if (and only if) Raanta is out long-term. They acquired Hall as a rental. Why not gamble Jenik and solidify their scoring with Kreider and go for it? As a Blues fan, the only team in the Western Conference that seems to consistently give the Note trouble (and worry me) is Arizona. If the Yotes can add a couple more studs while sacrificing an 18 year old who is perhaps two-plus years away from the NHL, I'd say that's a solid bet.

I think they can afford Hall or Kreider (they may have to move like Goli, but that's not a big loss at all imo) but not both, that's why I'd prefer to not give up Jenik for a rental... Tho if we let Hall walk and would have been able to sign Kreider and with this trade we'd won the cup or smth... Welp lol
