Soooo Morgan Rielly is not a 1/2 d man yet either. I call him one, but by your 3-40/50 he is not. Geez I would hate to think what you think of our Klefbomb

He will be if he hits 50 pts this season, which he won't (injured) was on pace for 50ish, you decide

He'd be competing against Kunin, Hartman,Donato for second line ice - Kapenen wins those battles

He'd be competing against Fiala as I said before, who is a more dynamic player with more upside. The fact you mentioned Hartman says you have no idea who plays on what line for the Wild. Take the L and move on.

It is your criteria, not mine, Rielly is a legit 1st pair D to me, Werenski also is to me, even though he does not fit your criteria either.

Why do you say that? Dumba has a better shot, younger, better contract, more upside still. I totally disagree, but if you watch a lot of him, you can tell me. We see him quite often in the west

He's a guy that just can't seem to take the next step. He's good sure, terrific shot, good skater but he just can't figure it all out.
Copenhagen liked this.

Kapanen isn't getting top 6 minutes in Minnesota, he'd play behind Zuccarello and Fiala. Take off the Leaf-tinted glasses, Kapanen is a good player but he's not some amazing upgrade for the Wild. The Wild's forward issue is the only center they have who can produce points is Staal, so if they move a guy like Dumba they're going to want a center coming back because that's the team's biggest need.

Kapanen has more points than either of those guys and plays 3rd line minutes. It's a safe bet he could produce more with more opportunity. Also he's 23. Your statement is about as empty as they come.

Dumba>Nurse offensively, Nurse>Dumba defensively ( basically the same player 1 LH 1 RH.

I think this is an interesting characterization, I don't think Nurse is far behind Dumba offensively, he just doesn't get the PP opportunities that Dumba does.

In the past 2.5 seasons, Nurse is 10th in the NHL at 5v5 with 69 points, Dumba is 53rd with 49 points. Of course, Dumba missed a bunch of time due to injuries, but if you look at P/GP and P/60 Nurse is still slightly ahead.

P/GP
Nurse: 0.32
Dumba: 0.30

P/60
Nurse: 1.03
Dumba: 1.00

This year Dumba's stats are WAY down, and combined with his lower defensive ability I think his value is well below Nurse's at this time.
