Also I'm not sure San Jose would be willing to deplete their struggling offence for a struggling goalie.

SJ not going to give up Meier, who will probably be their leading goal scorer for the next few years, for Murray, who has struggled greatly.

That’s awful. I actually like Murray but max id give is a second and prospect.

Definitely dependent on Jarry continuing his all-star level performances the rest of the season.. but I do like it - For a team like the Penguins, it would be tough to give Murray a long term deal at $6.5 million +

IF if if if if ... someone offersheets Murray over the summer the compensation would be either a 1st+3rd, or 1st+2nd+3rd.

If if if if... Rutherford trades Murray before the deadline, I would expect the return to be better than the potential RFA compensation.
