If Toronto doesn't re-sign Muzzin they might consider an idea like this, but as the roster is it doesn't make much sense and is more of a downgrade than anything

Also as an oilers fan i would probably accept this trade which would be a mistake. Would help us this year but Nurse will be a true number one for a long time when he hits his prime. Hard to watch Mcdavid play with Neal.

Enduring such a poor start under Babcock and now how played their way into the playoff race. After the all star, two good road victories in Nashville and Dallas. Sounds pretty "gritty" but any definition.

Most people can't separate "grid and physical". in a sentence. Now I admit, the Leafs aren't necessary physical in roughness but gotta say they are gritty. Certainly tough enough. They will take a hit to make a play. Look at that Nashville game. Leafs hemmed in the Nashville defence most the night with gritty, speed and some physical play. Even the two Boston series, Leafs didn't lose because of physicality.

We have lots of cap room to resign the guys we need to, Bear Nurse. With enough to sign a top six 6 winger. we have a bunch of bad money coming off this year.
Same next year we will have room to sign another top 6 winger.
