Neither would make this trade Sabres would not because Eichel is their marque playerand they are closer to getting to playoffs. Wings would not because they could get their marquee player on a great deal.

That’s wild. As a rebuilding team Detroit would love first overall. The Sabres are...I don’t know where they are. Lol. That Skinner deal just looks crippling if he continues to play how he has been when healthy.

If absolutely move the pick for eichel, the Detroit roster is missing elite talent and adding eichel instantly improves it. Plus he's only 23 signed for 6 more seasons.
