Columbus doesn’t want Tatar. We need a second line center. Not a top 6 wing.....

We’d totally be willing to offer up Anderson Murray and a lottery protected(top 10) 1st for Domi. Might even add someone like Marchenko if needed.

The Columbus trade is horrid for the habs. BOS, WSH, and STL trades are fine, and I’m not commenting on the TOR trade.

The return picks all need to be one round lower.

I dont get why people think Kovalchuks value is from a daily basis. The guy was free to sign wherever he wanted, now he's worth a 2nd and a 4th because he got a few points? I think if any contender goes for him, it's for pennies. Like a 6th.

I don't see any contenders overspending to acquire Kovalchuk but I do see there being a market for him. I doubt it'll be for multiple draft picks, you may see a bottom six forward/low level prospect and a 3rd-4th round pick for him. That's the only way you'll see a two player deal for him. I think it's safe to say that it's extremely unlikely they get a 2nd or 1st for him, it's more around 3rd is the best case scenario with 4th-6th being the best probability.
