That vegas trade is interesting, I don't see smith waiving his NTC but if I were buffalo I would do that. Resigning montour is a bad idea, especially at that price

I think Vegas says no honestly. Smith has been really good even since the coaching change. Maybe Tuch instead?

I can only assume you meant Eichels career is going nowhere while in Buffalo

He’s going to leave whenever he’s unrestricted yes, but you have a lot of years before then so try to win

Montour is one of the top zone entry defensemen and best skating dmen in the league, he also plays well with Dahlin, maybe for slightly cheaper he is worth it 4 sure. What so we do just trade him again?

I think so, of Eichel wants out...he is getting out??‍♂️ we can't hold him in the organization if we don't ever get into the playoffs...

If we win when he is here...I think that he will defiently stay on, we just need a cup or 2

Nope just a drama queen , Jack is just entering his prime . It is not like he rose to this level before this year . Being intelligent and probably able to do basic math he I am sure he was aware of the cap restrictions that has been on this team because of the bad contracts we have been weighed down with. I am sure he sees that this summer we actually be able to make real moves and not be bargain hunting in free agency or with trades.

I don't mind his play driving skills but that's all hes got. Hes got horrible decisions making in both ends and not a good shooter, hes really bad on special teams. I think transitional play is one of the most important aspects of a defensemans game but hes not good in any other areas of the game. Dahlin is so good that anyone will do well with him, I dont think it's a good idea to pay a guy for doing well with dahlin when you could get a guy for less who will be better

By this year I mean 2021... After the sabres are freed of all bad contracts except Oki...
