yes they'll keep him since he has the most negative value around the league ( that's something ) you CAN'T trade Vlasic who'll be 33 in March and got 6 more years remaining at 7M

sure I get the point Alzner has a shorter deal and an lower cap hit, but he's USELESS compared to Vlasic, who can still play in the NHL despite trending downward. With 1.5M retention, the deals in favour of Montreal

Like I said, Vlasic have an insane negative value due to is contract length + AAV so he's untradeable, so they'll keep him

Yes I get that but like I said, Alzner is useless and the management hasn't even bothered to call him up to the NHL despite Montreal's current D-core. On the other hand, Vlasic can still play hockey to some extent so he's still useful to his team for 1-4 seasons.

Alzner was decent before signing, I don't know what happen with him, I want them to give him another chance, he was so unlucky when he was playing, every puck was touching is skate and going on is own net, so much bad luck

Chiarot is great, very good and underrated signing, him and Weber are really good together. Mete is a decent #5 like Scandella and Kulak is only good when is confident and playing with Petry on the top 4

This is a 'I have been drinking and want to say the obvious but will start sh** ' post

But ya Vlasics contract is far worst for a player that isnt nearly as good as his fan base wants him to be. Iv said it once and ill say it again Toronto paid a 1st to get 6.25 off thier books for 1 year, Vlasic has 6 more years, do the math.
