Justin Schultz is not worth nearly that much.

And neither is Toffoli.

Schultz and a 3rd for a late 1st? ... yes he is. Colorado just isn't the right team to make that deal

besides you completely overvaluing Toffoli as a rental, why does LA want Murray?

Schultz is a UFA after this season so the basis for trading him as a cap dump for next season is plain dumb as he won't count against our cap next season when any UFAs or RFAs need resigned in the off season.......

That defense looks terrible now. Nowhere near good enough for a run through the playoffs.

I don't think you realize how bad Schultz has been over the last three years. He's a UFA. Most good teams have better power play QBs. He's not good defensively either. Also average at getting the puck up the ice. Only area he is decent is when the team is set up in the O zone. Even then, his shot isn't what it was three years ago. Justin Schultz is not worth anywhere near a first.

Hallander, Johnson, Murray, Simon for Toffoli, 7th? Take out Hallander and Murray and you might be on the right path.

Lol someone hasnt heard of Cal Peterson or any of their other solid goalie prospects. LA's goaltending is the last thing they need to invest in during their rebuild
