I know a lot of people would disagree about trading both Trouba and Skjei but I'm all for it. However I'd prefer Byfield to Lafreniere, so I'm hoping for second overall pick.

I dont think Vegas is going to trade both Krebs and their 1st rounder, it would probably be one or the other, so they dont effectively skip two 1st rounds in a row this early on in their franchise

Yeah fat chance of Jeff Gorton retaining $1 million on Jacob Trouba for the next 6 years, Even then i still doubt Vegas could afford him. And Trouba would really be pissed off if he were dealt that far west.

Exactly. We are still developing our prospect pool. We aren’t going to trade Krebs. They feel they got a steal with him

I dont understand why people think retaining 1 million for 6 years is such a big deal or it won't happen. Look at Toronto they retained 1.2M on Kessel amd that was 5 years ago and there is still 2 years left on that deal. It can happen it is just very rare

Would be hard to say no, still our prospect pool isn’t deep so trading away two premium picks is hard to do. . . But if they are looking to win the cup, that’s the way

interesting, i prefer Stutzle over Byfield. I have stutzle right after Lafreniere but i get the desire to put a potential franchise center above those two (since stutzle is projecting to be a winger more than a center)

Yeah for me it's purely because Byfield is a center. I know people are high on Chytil but I really don't see him as a top-6 center, more like a top-9 winger. I think the rangers need one more top-6 center not named Ryan Strome.

yeah chytils faceoff percentage is brutal but i think his two way game is really good.. just those darn faceoffs-- if he improved on them he could be a legitimate threat.
