Lmao. Samberg is a top prospect and most teams won’t even give up a 1st for pageau. And you want both + a 2nd 😂

Samberg is about 3rd on the WPG LHD depth chart, so Im not sure I would call him a "top prospect" but I agree that this is an overpay.

Realitically Samberg is a B+ prospect. Pageau should net 2nd+B+, Conditional 2nd+B, or 1st + C

From the OTT perspective though, I wouldnt be making a trade with WPG for D prospects especially not LHD.

We want your winger prospects.

I don't think the Jets should be giving up either pick or a prospect this trade deadline. Best move would be to take a cap dump to add a player if we think they would add to this year's team. Backes might be interesting.

Poor mans pageau, might be an idea, a little bargain hunt a natural Center without selling the farm. I think it’s time to move on from Lowry or copp, and possibly roslovic for the right return if there’s a natural Center out there that can bolster top 6. One of the three a likely Seattle pick anyway.

I doubt we do a Backes trade until the Draft...If we can get some UFA's, his 6M may be too much
