I think your trying to hard and really hope the other GMs are cool losing the trades

If we make a trade like that for Severson, which I think is a decent package that would make Jersey consider - May have to be Kapanen, Dermott, Bracco - but then why deal Barrie? I like the looks of Lilly but are you comfortable at this point with a Sandin - Lilly pairing making a run in the playoffs? and if theres an injury, relying on Marincin?

I think if we squeezed into the playoffs this year, giving our team the best chance to steal a playoff series against Boston/Tampa (Presumably) is more valuable than a late first round pick when our window for the cup is more of a 2-3 year window. Just my thoughts.

Mueller is a stop gap till Rielly returns. He is an upgrade on Marincin.
