The asking price for Kreider, straight from the Rangers. 1st, top prospect, 2 more picks, one of them conditional on him re-signing. That falls well short.

Fla is not interested in moving Borgman.

From what it sounds like the other player/prospect could be lower level and weren't as important as the 1st and the top prospect, which is the minimum package.

The Rangers are saying hell no to anything that doesn't have a 1st in it. And no offense, AJ Greer is worth a 6th round pick at this point. IDK if he even counts as the lower level prospect given his age.

You may have to make the pick an unconditional 1st in order to get the rangers to bite. Not a bad fallback option though if they can't get a top prospect + 1st. Maybe instead of unconditional you can also have a condition where it turns into a 1st if Colorado wins a round or two in the playoffs with kreider playing in 50% of games or something like that was on the zucc deal
