Matthews and Marner should have never been paired together long-term. Yes, they can be dynamic, and yes, slotting them together late in the games can sometimes make sense. However, JT and Marner had basically a full year of wonderful chemistry together. I'd like/prefer to see Engvall on their wing - Kapanen either plays to soft or too rough (when someone lights a fire under him), but can never play just a steady game on a consistent basis. On D, I would much prefer to see Reilly and Holl over Ceci, if the team is planning to give Reilly 20 minutes plus. Ceci has done nothing this season to prove he deserve that kind of ice time.

engvall has been nothing but garbage for the past few months, had a great start, he looks lost out there. he shouldnt be there come playoffs imo, id rather goat or malgin for sure
